Which would make better ally?
brute or elite? hunter or prophet? marine or drone? grunt or jackal? combat flood or carrier form? post your answers to each of those.

no shield or shield. I think i'll take the elite. 1 prophet or tons of hunters. Im going with hunter (prophets cant do squat, and they are weak. that is why regret had a really powerful shield on his chair as well as a powerful weapon. All you would have to do is get a drone to jack his seat thing.) Drone=plasma pistol and needler, Marine=almost any weapon Marine is more useful. grunt or jackal I choose the grunts. As long as their leader is alive, they stay and fight (plus they can hold fuel rod cannons and many other weapons). Jackals are either hiding behind shields with a charged plasma pistol, or keeping a big distance between you and itself using a sniper rifle (in other words, it is afraid of close quarters combat). combat flood or carrier form Combat is better. They can hit things, are really resistant to covenant weaponry, can learn how to use things faster than humans and about as fast as covenant (example: I think in high charity when they fly the pelican, but not very well). All the carrier form does is walk and blow up. They cant even jump. Pathetic.

gotta agree with you on all those except grunt or jackal. I say jackal cuz they have awesome sniping skills. if it was Halo 1 I'd say grunts.

Here are some questions. Why did the hunters get so much taller in H2. And why do the jackals look so much different in H2.

because in battle they spent less time protecting their neck and more time sticking it out there in order to run faster. for Jackals, it's cuz of the graphical updates and of all the original Covenant in Halo 1, they were the least impressive and so that major step was very obvious. That's just my theories on it...

but even when the hunters are protecting their necks they are still about a foot taller than they are in halo 1. Here are two theories of mine about the jackals. They finally discovered plastic surgery. Or they are followers of michal jackson.
