I never said that oil was not a reason, I was saying that what sharrakor said is not true. We have not turned into what the founding fathers were fighting against. Yeah, I was just going towards a different point.

sharrakor- 07-22-2006

'eh I hear what both of you are saying...as in understand...

TheMercenary- 07-22-2006

Doc, you have a great point. rip, it doesn't even matter anymore...why bring back the past? What's done is done. We've got larger problems to worry about right now. Heh....if you ask me, all these other countries minor problems don't even match up to what we have on our hands right now. IF we don't take care of this huge problem in the Middle East, there might not be any other countries to help.

sharrakor- 07-23-2006

we're supposed to be pulling out of Lebanon by Sunday next week. I sure hope that's true.

TheMercenary- 07-23-2006

Yeah...weren't we just evacuating civilians or something? I dunno....a week of being outside with no news updates can really make yu fall behind.

sharrakor- 07-23-2006

you might be right about that...

okay, i will post that stuff about coke (or coca-cola, or whatever it is) now even tho i know i am a little late with it. WATER 1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. 2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger. 3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%. 4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study. 5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue. 6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers. 7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzz short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page. 8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer. And now for the properties of COKE: 1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway! after a car accident. 2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days 3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the \"real thing\" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous China. 4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola. 5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola ov er the terminals to bubble away the corrosion. 6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes. 7. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. 8. It will also clean road haze from your windshield. For Your Info: 1. The active ingredient in Coke is PHOSPHORIC ACID. Its pH is \"2.8.\" It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. ! Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis. 2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials. 3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years! Now the question is, would you like a coke or a glass of water? srry if it as spelling errors. i just copied and pasted.

Funny how the whole world is living under fear, and the Israeli's are using fear tactics to prove their cause. Terrorism isn't so dangerous, if it were, than you would see 20,000 terrorists entering our boarder through Mexico, instead of 20,000 illegal immigrants, EACH DAY!!!

sharrakor- 07-29-2006

well you have a good point there. but there is something that I would like to point out something. FACT: there is approximately the same amount of illegal Irish immigrants as illegal Latino immagrants. just thought I'd throw that out there.

TheMercenary- 07-30-2006

Really? Heh....i didn't know that.

cube2323- 07-31-2006

but they brought beer so who cares

TheMercenary- 08-02-2006

Hmmm....haven't heard about this much lately...wonder if N.K. chickened out or something....i dunno..

Hex- 08-05-2006

srry if this topic seems messed up. the bunker stuff was starting to become part of the topic, so i took out the bunker stuff and gave it a place of its own.

sharrakor- 08-05-2006

good job hex. that was a good choice. I haven't heard much on it either. I've been watching the news for anything about it but nothin seems to be happenin. I highly doubt they chickened out tho.
