multiplayer what do you guys think of the Halo 2 multiplayer?

There's a rumor that Halo 3 will have a map editor close to the one on FarCry Instincts.
I think that they should have made a level that is at the temple-like areas at the beginning of the Delta Halo level. I know there was one in the Map Pack but.....

Something that would also be cool is if you could play multiplayer on the campaign levels. I know this is a lot like co-op, but it would be nice if you could bring more than just you and one other person. Like have no covenant or other kind of enemy that normally there. Just bring in a ton of people, spread out over the level, and play slayer or capture the flag (or any other kind that I didnt name). Or you could just bring a lot of people in and actually play the level normally with all of the enemies.

The thing that's bad about that is that the maps are waaaaaaaaaaay too big and it would take forever to find each other.
Too many ppl playing co-op would make the game too easy. I wonder if in Halo 3 (think about the flashing lights in H3 trailer) they will bring in 4 player co-op. This would be a nice amount of players but they would have to make the game ALOT harder.
Another cool idea would be to have a "squad management" type thing. Where you can choose how many of any type of Covenant to fight and you can put some of them on your own side and they would be identifiable by team colors. That would be so cool.

but halo 3 will only have 2-player co-op becuse they think having more will make the game too easy
As for multiplayer me and hex play co-op all the time but i have never played on Xbox live and only played 3-4 maps on Halo 2 bulit-in maps and map
pack that you could buy in the store but i have a great time otherwise
