i know exactly what you mean about the drawing mood. i have the same thing. it rarely ever comes, but i still try. and i need to work on angles of characters, drawing something that is bigger than just 3 fingers put together, and not being such a perfectionist. i think i might've worked out a better scheme tho. i've got a friend who is good at drawing basic poses of people, their outlines, stuff like that and nearly page-size too. so i could just have her draw the outlines and stuff for me, then i could do all the detailing, refining, coloring, smoothing, etc. it is kinda cheating myself out of the learning process and all, but it would probably work pretty good. well, it'll be a long time til i actually get that frustrated. lol.
