Spiker Grenade: The Spike Grenade is a new weapon that will be introduced in Halo 3. It is an invention of the Brutes, and is similar in functionality to the Plasma Grenade. When it detonates, it shoots a conical blast of spikes in one direction (kind of like a claymore mine). Like the Plasma Grenade, any player stuck by it will be sent prematurely on The Great Journey. However, unlike its luminous counterpart, the Spike Grenade sticks to the surface of any solid surface it lands on, including shields (the plasma grenade can only stick to enemies and vehicles). According to EGM reports, the grenade makes a distinct "Whoop-whoop-whoop" sound when thrown, which may be useful for scaring enemies or, to a more experienced player, could be used to find the thrower's position. The Spike Grenade appears to be similar in design to the Stielhandgranate the Germans used in WW2. It has four big curved spikes on top of the grenade, and a number of smaller ones around the shaft of the grenade. This also gives it the appearance of a medieval mace. Bungie has stated that, in order to balance the addition of a new grenade type, players will only be able to carry two of each kind in Halo 3. Picture of Spike Grenade: Damage it Does: You can even notice on the second picture, the spikes going in different directions.

Oh don't worry, I think there's an answer to that problem. The M6 Spartan Laser is a shoulder-mounted direct energy weapon used by the UNSC. It fires an extremely powerful red laser, capable of destroying vehicles and infantry with one accurate strike. When the trigger is pulled, a targeting dot is projected. The laser will then charge for three seconds before firing its powerful and destructive burst. It fires a red laser beam that is similar to the Sentinel Beam, but is quite different. When the trigger is pulled, a harmless red dot is projected on the target. The laser will then charge for three seconds before firing a massive, blood red laser beam that destroys everything in its path. The Spartan Laser is equipped with a smart-linked Wyrd III optics suite for increased accuracy. In Halo 3 multiplayer, when one gets a kill with the Spartan Laser (on a vehicle or not) a sniper medal is awarded. This is because the beam that is shot is sniper like and it is very hard to aim and kill with it. If the player manages to keep their reticule on their target when the beam fires, the enemy will be killed in one hit. The Galileian "Spartan Laser" can even destroy a vehicle in one hit, possibly making it the usurper of the Halo 2-era Rocket Launcher in Halo 3. The beam is also known to have splash damage at its impact point. The weapons has 4 shots before a "recharge" is needed. The Spartan Laser has an ability to penetrate multiple targets with the laser Pictures:

sharrakor- 05-08-2007

Oh yeah, they said you have to recharge it after you run out of beams, or something along those lines. The article wasn't really clear, so I just deleted that stuff, cuz it didn't make much sense.

The following links contain important plot info. Don't click if you don't want to see them. They are the levels in Halo 3 Solo-Player Campaign Sierra 117 Holdout Tsavo Highway The Storm Cleansing Refuge Last Stand The Key Return Any thoughts from those who looked?

Halo 3 will have 4 player co-op. However, on the console, you'll have to use system link, as it only supports two players per console. There are two new Elite characters, links below... http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/N%E2%80%99tho_%E2%80%98Sraom http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Usze_%E2%80%98Taham The third and fourth players on the co-op will be playing as N'tho Sraom and Usze 'Taham. Both characters are unique, so no worries about them being practically the same thing.

can't wait to play Tsavo Highway, sounds like an awesome level. Well, can't wait to play all of them, but that sounds like one of the most exciting ones.
