getting rid of weapons

amen to that. I expect it to be gone after all the ridicule it received and especially since (modified?) assault rifle is coming to Halo 3.

Yeah, the smg was a let down. I like the assualt rifle, shame it wasn't in halo 2.

and the sad fact is, the smg is the weapon that appears most in H2 yet it is the worst. Battle rifle is second most appeared but BR rules!

I hope the magnum goes but the old pistol comes back. That thing was fun, and powerul.

I actually liked the magnums. Dual wield them and shoot up the flood with them. It's fun. They rarely make it to me, if they do, they're dying at my feet. I can shoot them pretty fast.

the magnum was there for dual-wielding, nothing else. I agree with Hex about bringing back old pistols.

That would be cool if they made it so you could dual wield the old pistol. Be kinda pointless, but fun when you have little wars with friends or giant swarms of flood.

the pistol was put in halo as a balance. with it you couyld defend yourself from any weapon. Dual weilding them would be horrible. Dual weilding itself was just a way o fgetting people to buy the game.dual weilding should be taken out of halo 3.
